About ChronoMap

ChronoMap shows on a map what was happening across the world in the same period as you move through the years.

Event descriptions are shown as written on Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0), with a link to the original article. Historical borders come from the Cliopatria dataset of the Seshat Global History Databank (CC BY 4.0).

For territories and names involving Korea we follow the position of the Republic of Korea (Dokdo, East Sea); for other disputes we follow each language edition of Wikipedia.
